Good Day was written on a rainy day in St Albans, U.K. where I was living at the time. With no motivation to go anywhere or do anything on such a day, what's left to do but write a song, right? I had recently watched the movie 'Walk The Line" which provided inspiration for some of the lyrics, evident in the second verse and choruses when talking about two people staying together and moving through life together while on the road.
