Fade Away

from Le Cafe Acien by Trysette

/

about

Personally, I love this moody little tune! It's a bit lazy and a little bit edgy in it's production which I think perfectly portrays the sentiment of the song. I wrote it close to the time that I wrote 'Too Much' so it's based on feelings of loss and a sense of drowning. I'm kind off asking for help, wanting what I had when my life felt so secure and strong but I'm now feeling it slip away.

lyrics

Talk to me tenderly
Catch me as I'm swept to the sea
Throw me your lifeline
I won't let go this time

What held me so strong
To the current now belongs
To the undertow ohhhhhh it goes

I see you in the distant view
Run to me now won't you
Hold me like you used to
Endear my love to you

Cos all that I knew
To be rocksteady and true
Did fade away fade away fade away

Yeah all that I knew
To be rocksteady and true
Did fade away fade away fade fade away
